Over the years, many people have asked, "How did you get into your work as a psychic? Were you born with this ability?"
My reply has always been that developing your skills as an intuitive or psychic is very much like developing your skills in anything new that you learn. Like any ability, some of us have a great deal of natural psychic talent from birth; however, the true scope and breadth most often does not become apparent until regular practice of one’s skills is initiated. If you practice, you get better! You learn through trial and error. You try at first what others before you have tried, and you increase your skill by learning what it feels like inside to be right, to be accurate in your perception, to be correct, to feel and to get confirmation that your multi-sensory perceptions were right on target. Try to accept and understand the first input that you receive; it is usually the most valid and the most accurate. Don’t ignore your perception because it "doesn’t make any sense" at the time you perceive it. Pay attention to things that come to you when you are "spacey" or "day dreaming," during the day. These drowsy or tired times are often when you perceive intuitive information the best. Also, keep in mind that many of us perceive information in our dreams. Any dreams or snatches of dreams you recall, jot them in down in a journal.
Whatever your interest in improving your own psychic skills, you need to first, immediately, begin to keep a journal of your experiences. I cannot stress enough the importance of this. Intuitive experiences come to us in fleeting awareness, and often in a dream state or a daydream state. If you don’t jot them down immediately, often they are, like your dreams at night, lost in the clutter of everyday life. In this journal, I want you to jot down in down any way you would like, your own past experiences that you consider intuitive, strange, gut instinct, "too coincidental," or out and out there's no other word for it, psychic.
We all have intuition. Most of us use our intuition or “gut” feelings very little or none at all. I’ve learned that logic and intuition work best when they go hand and hand. Some people are more attuned to their intuition than other. But that doesn’t mean that everyone can’t develop their own intuitive abilities to the greatest extent possible. Even with intuition, practice makes perfect. The more we use our intuition the better we become. Then, instead of waiting and hoping for a flash to appear we can use it on demand. Sometimes trusting our intuition is the hardest lesson to learn.
I’ll let you in on a little secret: You have been using your intuition for many years.

I missed Valentine's Day...
Well... another Valentine's Day has come and gone. I spent most of it sick with a cold. But, let's talk a bit about those nasty expectations I have talked about before.
Valentine's day must be the hardest day for men that are in relationships. The pressure must be huge. I have heard a lot of men say they hate this day. Do they hate it or do they fear it? All I can say here is just don't buy us a kitchen appliance!
Men... all you really have to do is try... try and make it special and most (I dare say all) women will love you for it. Really, we all just want to feel loved and appreciated. Don't we? I am going to say it again... It's all about the little things. Not just on Valentine's Day but everyday. Take out the pen and paper and write out some heartfelt words. She will love you for it. Remember it doesn't have to be expensive just thoughtful.
This is what I do with my spouse... We trade off! One year I do Valentine's and the then the next it's his turn. I find that by doing this it gives my man ideas on what do so there isn't as much pressure. It works for us :)

Hello 2011 - Happy Spiritual Relationships to all :)
How do you see your life? Do you plan for the future or live for today? Sometimes we are so busy we don't stop and pay attention. Allow yourself to surrender to everything that is happening right here and right now. In my opinion Spiritual Enlightenment is unconditional peace, love and joy.
Attaining spiritual enlightenment is not difficult. You do not have to be a psychic with mediumship abilities or sell all your worldly possessions and live in a cave in Tibet for 10 years. It does not take hard work, hours of yoga or meditation, or reading any books. It's about finding time to rejuvenate, to start fresh. The answers will then come. You will find that things become clearer.
Achieving Inner Peace does not mean all your troubles will suddenly disappear. But you will find that you will be able to deal with difficult times much easier. You may find that you can take a step back and resolve your feelings much easier. We can not control or prevent problems from arising but we can react to them with a different perspective. You may even find that you will have more energy if you can find inner peace in your life. It's a shame we waste a lot of energy on stressful situations in your life.
Finding your own Inner Peace will not only benefit you, but all those around you and the ones you love.
