The Holidays have approached this year way too fast. What I need to remember in all the hustle and bustle is to relax, and take time for myself. It seems as though we get so busy with our "to do" list that we forget to take care of ourselves and the ones around us.
What I seem to forget is to notice all the beauty and magic around us at this time of year. How many of you have written out 10, or 20 or more Christmas cards and actually read what the card says? They usually mention peace, harmony, love and joy! But how many of us allow ourselves to experience those words around the Holidays or any time of the year?
Are the presents we buy just about getting something for the other person... What about the personal touch that seems to be missing. Have we all forgotten that?
As I evolve on my own Spiritual quest I find I am thinking more of the meaning behind what I do and what I say more and more. So, instead of presents this year I am taking my family on a trip... so we can just spend time with one another.
